About the Cocktail
Bourbon Margarita Cocktail Recipe: A Bold Blend of Whiskey Sour & Margarita Flair
Some drinks walk into your life quietly, and others kick the door open with a Tajín rim and a lime wedge. This one? Courtesy of our good friend Stannon, who mixed it for us and grinned as he handed it over: “It’s like a Margarita and a Whiskey Sour had a baby.” And honestly, that’s exactly the energy this cocktail brings — bright citrus swagger with a bourbon backbone that doesn’t apologize for showing up.
His Take:
A bourbon drink that doesn’t weigh you down? Count me in. It’s refreshing, punchy, and just dangerous enough to make you want a second.
Her Take:
The Tajín rim and citrus hit first, then the bourbon warms everything up like a sunset. It’s balanced, bold, and surprisingly elegant.
The Good Life Fit:
This cocktail is the kind of unexpected twist that makes an ordinary evening feel like a story worth telling. It’s simple, memorable, and perfect for sharing with the people who make life good.

Thank you for trying this, and the glowing reviews! I have made a lot of variations (maple syrup instead of agave, smoked with pear wood, a splash of soda)... this is quickly becoming my "go-to" at home.
Bottoms up!
