The Bushmills® Private Reserve Collection is a series of small batch single malts hand selected with unique cask finishes, born from the original Irish single malt tradition that Bushmills® pioneered.
This 10 Year Old single malt Irish whiskey is first matured in carefully selected bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks for 6 years before finishing for a minimum of 4 years in first fill Pomerol Bordeaux casks.

TASTING NOTES
A rich interplay of roasted wood, red currants, and ripe raspberries on the nose. Mellow, well-rounded palate that unfolds with crisp green apple, lemon, and vanilla.
Color: Deep copper
Aroma: Roast wood, red currants and raspberries
Taste: Crisp green apple, lemon and vanilla followed by nutmeg and ginger
Finish: Long, Dry finish with lemon peel and glowing spiciness
MATURATION
This 10 Year Old single malt is first matured in carefully selected bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks for a total of 6 years before finishing for a minimum of 4 years in first fill Pomerol Bordeaux casks.

The finest of the 2024 Bushmills Private Reserve U.S. exclusives, its 4 year finish in first-fill Pomerol wine casks serves up a fresh take on Bushmills 10 year old. This has a sweet malty nose of roasted nuts, dried vine fruit, cranberry, star anise, and glazed chocolate doughnut. The palate is a delicious mélange of caramel, vanilla, chocolate babka, mango, passion fruit, cherry, raspberry coulis, and cinnamon, pushing all the chips in for a magnificent finish of black cherry, peppercorn, and tiramisu.

Some required patience. And a few, like this Bushmills 10 Year Old Private Reserve Bordeaux Cask (#18 on the list, Score 93, ABV 46.5%), demanded a little extra determination.
By the time we found this bottle, we had finally cracked the code on reputable online retailers willing to ship to Alabama. Finding it at MSRP felt like a small miracle. Paying a bit more for shipping? A minor sacrifice in the name of the Sipping Room. This bottle—wine‑finished, Irish, and quietly confident—slipped into our collection with the promise of something different.
