Whenever either one of us visits a new city, the other inevitably asks, “Did you check out their Total Wine yet?” It’s our quirky little ritual — even when Jeff isn’t traveling with me, he still cheers me on from home as I wander the aisles like I’m on a treasure hunt.
On this particular trip, I was in Maryland, tired from long meetings and ready for something comforting to enjoy in my hotel room. Canned wine usually doesn’t catch my attention, but the words MOSCATO and LYCHEE stopped me in my tracks. As an Asian‑American woman who grew up loving lychee everything, the flavor already had my heart.
The convenience sealed the deal — four petite cans that fit perfectly in the hotel fridge. Crisp, sweet, and bursting with lychee flavor, they were exactly what I needed.
