Golden Hour Reverie Cocktail

About the Cocktail

The Golden Hour Reverie arrived as the featured cocktail recipe from PourMore alongside our bottle of Fallen Barrel House Single Cask Straight Wheat Whiskey (Barrel No. R‑013) — a one‑of‑one, nine‑year California-aged wheat whiskey that already feels like a story waiting to be poured. This cocktail takes that rare whiskey and frames it in a moment of elegance: chamomile‑infused honey syrup, pear liqueur, Oloroso sherry, and walnut bitters stirred together until they glow like late‑day sunlight.

It’s a drink that feels both delicate and confident — soft florals, orchard fruit, and warm nuttiness wrapped around the whiskey’s wheat‑forward charm. The thin pear slice and chamomile flower garnish make it look like something you’d sip at a quiet table during golden hour, when the world slows down just enough to savor it.

His Take

A silky, floral whiskey cocktail that tastes like the calm right before sunset.

Her Take

Elegant, aromatic, and beautifully balanced — this cocktail feels like golden hour dressed in satin.

The Good Life

A reminder that luxury isn’t loud; it’s intentional, warm, and shared.
