Building our Sipping Room collection has become one of our favorite rituals—part treasure hunt, part celebration, part quiet moment of curiosity. Every bottle we bring home carries a story, a purpose, and a little spark of anticipation. This time, we set out with a specific mission: to find a cognac worthy of representing the category on our shelves.
Cognac is one of those spirits that feels both timeless and deeply expressive, and we wanted something that could stand proudly among our bourbons, rums, and whiskies. So we did what any modern collector does—we wandered the aisles of Total Wine, scanning ratings, reading labels, and letting instinct guide us.
That’s when ABK6 VSOP Cognac caught our eye.
With a 96 rating and a reputation backed by Gold Medals from both the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the International Wine & Spirit Competition, this bottle practically introduced itself. It promised craftsmanship, elegance, and a level of refinement that felt right for our growing collection. The minimalist, modern label didn’t hurt either—it has that quiet confidence that suggests the liquid inside can speak for itself.

Recipe for 2 liters.
Ingredients:
40 cl ABK6 Cognac VSOP
80 cl orange juice
50 cl pineapple juice
30 cl apricot juice
5 cl strawberry syrup
5 cl cane sugar syrup
Recipe:
Pour all ingredients into a bowl or jar and mix. Add ice, a few orange slices and enjoy.
