Adictivo Reposado Cristalino Tequila achieves something rare: the depth of an extended barrel-aged reposado expressed through the pristine clarity of a crystal-clear spirit. Crafted under the direction of Master Distiller Gildardo Partida in El Arenal, Jalisco, this is tequila that rewards a second look.
Made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, this tequila rests for eight months in French oak barrels, well beyond what the reposado category requires. That unhurried maturation builds layers of flavor that a shorter rest simply cannot achieve. The spirit then undergoes meticulous charcoal filtration, which strips away the amber color while preserving the character the oak imparted. The result is a cristalino that carries genuine substance beneath its polished appearance, produced at NOM 1653 in the highlands of Jalisco.
Nose: Cooked agave, cream, honey, and a whisper of light oak
Palate: Mild oak and light vanilla with touches of citrus and caramel
Finish: Lightly sweet and lasting

While we never expect friends or family to add to our collection, we always appreciate when they do. And this bottle? A delicious addition that immediately earned its place on the shelf.
Adictivo Reposado Cristalino is one of those tequilas that looks like it knows exactly what it’s doing — sleek, polished, and crystal clear, yet carrying the quiet confidence of something aged with intention. It’s the kind of bottle that makes you pause, pour, and then smile at the first sip.

I’ll admit it. This bottle surprised me. Cristalinos can be hit or miss, but this one leans into the reposado roots in a way I appreciate. The nose gives you cooked agave and a touch of cream, but the palate is where it settles into stride: mild oak, a little vanilla, a whisper of citrus. It’s smooth without being simple, sweet without being syrupy.
The finish lingers just long enough to remind you it was aged properly, not rushed. I like that. It’s a tequila that doesn’t try too hard, yet still shows up dressed for the occasion. Rob did good with this one.

As someone still learning to name what I’m tasting, this bottle felt like a friendly guide. The aroma was soft — almost creamy — with a sweetness that didn’t overwhelm.
