Speed Rack
WHERE SPEED MEETS SPIRIT...
Speed Rack, created in 2011 by Lynnette Marrero and Ivy Mix, has grown from a fast-paced cocktail competition into a powerful platform amplifying women+ talent across the bartending world. From regional rounds to national finals, it brings high energy, sharp skills, and long-overdue spotlight to rising voices in markets big and small.
For this box, you won’t be racing the clock or juggling tools under pressure—and any judges lurking in your kitchen are entirely your own doing. Instead, you’ll get a bright, summer-ready taste of what makes Speed Rack special, crafted by its two founders and a two-time competitor.
All anchored by a bottle of tequila blanco, of course.
Recommended Liquor
Dano’s Dangerous Blanco Tequila
Made from 100% agave and completely additive-free, it hails from Hacienda de Reyes, the second-oldest woman-owned hacienda in Tequila—and you can taste that legacy. The perfect match for this box.
Pueblo Viejo Blanco Tequila
Often overlooked outside of Mexico and the bar world, this tequila is a true standout. Bright, citrus-forward notes make it an easy fit for margaritas, palomas, and just about any cocktail you throw its way. A reliable, high-quality workhorse with incredible value.
Tapatio Blanco
Bold, bright, and wildly expressive, this tequila delivers classic highland character with crisp agave, pepper, and fresh citrus. It brings a lively kick to margaritas and spirit-forward cocktails alike, offering depth and vibrancy without overpowering the mix.

How We Feel About This Speed Rack Box
Shaker & Spoon recently released their Speed Rack Box, and we couldn’t wait to dive in—especially since it features tequila, one of our favorites. To pair with the recipes, we picked up Dano’s Dangerous Blanco Tequila, one of the recommended bottles. Bright, crisp, and perfect for mixing, it proved to be a great match. The cocktails were not only fun to make but also absolutely delicious, and we’re already looking forward to shaking up the next round.

About Shaker & Spoon
BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED RECIPES MADE EASY
Shake, stir, muddle, and more: each box is built around one spirit, showcasing various styles of cocktail-making. The recipe cards (and how-to videos) guide you through mixing and garnishing the cocktails, step by step, and the glossary explains any unfamiliar bartending terms. Just follow our instructions, and you’ll create bar-quality drinks for yourself and anyone you’d like to show off to!
EVERYTHING YOU NEED BESIDES THE ALCOHOL
Each box includes all of the ingredients (other than the alcohol) for 12 cocktails (4 from each recipe). Everything you need—syrups, bitters, garnishes, aromatics, and more—is included; you just add the liquor. Our specialty syrups are house-made and we always aim to source the best of everything else.
All house-made ingredients are created in small batches in our production facility in Red Hook, Brooklyn, in an attempt to recreate the processes used in the best craft cocktail bars in the world. It's all made to the specs given by our award-winning bartenders, which we're here to translate for you! Every step of our process is taken care of in-house by our tight-knit production team, from hand-selecting garnishes, to cooking syrups and bottling bitters, to blending salt and sugar rims, to packing, sealing, and shipping boxes.
And for the finishing touch, each bartender recommends a bottle that’ll work well with the entire box, but our drinks will also taste great with your favorite brand or the bottle you already have at home.
