How We Feel About the Mi Familia Flores Plata Tequila
Joint Introduction
Our Mi Familia Flores story began with a friendly nudge from the Spirits Manager at Total Wine Nashville — “You two need to try this.” That moment changed everything. We brought home the Cristalino Reposado first, shared it with friends and family, and watched it become the bottle everyone asked for. It’s hard to find in Alabama, so every Nashville trip turned into a mission.
Then came the Reserva Suprema Añejo — a bottle that felt like a celebration.
So when Total Wine Nashville announced a sale on all the Mi Familia Flores bottles, we didn’t hesitate. We looked at each other, smiled, and said, “Should we get them all?”We ordered every bottle online and picked them up like treasure hunters claiming their prize.
We haven’t opened them all yet — but the Plata feels like the bright, youthful spirit of the family, waiting to make its entrance.
His Take
The Plata is the purest expression of agave — no oak, no aging, just clean craftsmanship. I’m expecting crisp citrus, pepper, and that unmistakable agave freshness.
